51 Years Forgotten is a series of images that look at the abandoned rail line located in South downs national park. The images focus on the town of Midhurst where I grew up and explore a part of its history that is almost forgotten. The photographic style is inspired by Joel Sternfelds "Walk the High Line" and "Oxbow Archive" and I explored the use of colour in his images that appear almost desaturated.
